We have begun our 2023 season of Vigils in honour of Our Lady of Fatima; these run from May until October on the 12th of every month. The facilities will be open from 7pm. Rosary Procession at 7.30pm, followed by the celebration of Mass, finishing with a period of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. Hall open for tea/coffee thereafter. All welcome - come join us in honouring Our Blessed Lady and praying for peace!

9th July 2023 - when you are asked to encourage prayer and financial contributions to support the work of Stella Maris, the official maritime charity of the Catholic Church.  This second collection is vital for the future of Stella Maris and its support of seafarers and fishers in the UK and around the world.  

At a recent meeting of the Bishops' Conference of Scotland, the bishops agreed that an annual Day for Life will be celebrated on the third Sunday of June. In 2023, the Day for Life will be celebrated on 18th June. A special Pro-Life collection will be taken up in parishes on or around that date.

Bishop John warmly invites all who wish to celebrate the gift of marriage, especially engaged and married couples, to the Diocese of Paisley's Annual Mass for Marriage at 11am on Sunday 11th June 2023 in St Mirin's Cathedral. Reception in the Cathedral Hall to follow. The annual Thanksgiving Mass for the Legion of Mary will take place at Carfin Grotto on Sunday 4thJune. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 3pm. A break for refreshments will follow and the afternoon will conclude with the praying of the Rosary and Benediction. All active and auxiliary members of the Legion and their families are warmly invited to attend.

Tickets are now on sale after all Masses this weekend, for this event which takes place on Sunday 11th June 2023 from 2.30 pm - 5.30pm in the Church grounds. Tickets are priced at: £5 for a family ticket or £2 for an individual ticket, which includes refreshments. At the event there will be arts & crafts, face painting, games & competitions, music, barbecue plus a host of other events to keep everyone, of all ages, entertained! Donations of home-baking would be very gratefully received. All donations can be handed into the Pastoral & Social Centre on the Sunday morning from 9.30am onwards.
