As part of our shared commitment to improving safeguarding practice across our Diocese, a joint Parish Priest & PSC Training Event has been arranged for Thursday 22nd May at 6pm at St Mirin’s Church Hall. Areas that will covered on the night include recent changes to Disclosure & PVG legislation; what good safeguarding governance looks like within Parishes; and also to promote some forthcoming survivor support and localised training events. Bishop John will also attend the event as part of his Pastoral role in supporting our parish communities to feel safe & protected.
