Thank you to all who have so kindly agreed to volunteer to serve teas/coffees following the Sunday morning Masses. We have had a great response to our appeal. It is our intention to start early in the New Year. In the meantime, please watch this space for further information. The Social Committee will meet with the volunteers early in January to discuss arrangements, rotas etc. In the meantime, if you require any further information, or wish to volunteer, please email: Catherine Senior, [email protected]
Each month we will have a Diocesan Safeguarding thought to help us continue the focus on this important priority. The thought for December is: Together we will continue to ensure that our parishes are safe places where prevention is a key message.
SET YOUR PLACE! You can buy a place on our virtual table and provide a child with school meals for a whole year. It costs just £15.90 to feed a child for a whole school year! Please visit the SCIAF website: https://bigfamilychristmas.marysmeals.org/big-family-christmas-table/
You are invited to participate in a Marian service Monday to Friday at 9.30am to prepare for the celebration of the Nativity of the Lord. The service will consist of Adoration, Rosary and Reflection on the Liturgy of the Day. This would be an ideal opportunity for you to take time out of your busy schedule and prepare spiritually for the great Solemnity of the Lord’s birth. See you there!
The children will be presenting a short Nativity play on Sunday 18th December during the 10am Mass. All welcome! After Mass, everyone is invited into the Pastoral & Social Centre for some festive fun and refreshments!!
