The Heart’s Hunger: A Reflective Journey Through Lent Lent is a good time to listen to the longings within, what our hearts hunger for, to consider the things we need to sustain us and nourish us on our journey. This series of Lent reflections starts on Ash Wednesday (22nd February) and runs until the Easter week. A new guided audio reflection is made available for each week in Lent to listen to in your own time. This will also be sent to you in written form, along with other resources which you can dip into during times of reflection throughout the week (Scripture, poetry, art, spiritual writing etc). The aim is to create flexible material you can use in the time you have, which allows you to stay with what is standing out for you on your journey. To register visit https://heartinpilgrimage.org.uk/the-hearts-hunger-a-reflective-journey-through-lent/ or contact Susan Mansfield on [email protected] or 07803 620038. We are pleased to confirm dates for Marriage Preparation courses in 2023. Each course will consist of an evening in-person session, one evening zoom and one 3-hour workshop, which will be held in the Diocesan centre or Cathedral Hall, depending on numbers. It’s worth noting for our couples that the first session will not be available via Zoom for the time being as we felt that in-person yields greater connection and fruit. Couples should be directed to register via the Marriage and Family page on the Diocesan website, or by using this link Diocese of Paisley | MARRIAGE PREPARATION DAY REGISTRATION FORM | Paisley, UK (rcdop.org.uk) The cost for the course per couple is £30 which includes an information pack, CTS booklet ‘Cherish your wedding’ and refreshments during the workshop. Thank you to all of you who have so kindly volunteered to assist with the Teas/Coffees following the Sunday morning Masses. In order to progress this further, and to establish rotas, protocols etc., all volunteers are asked to attend a short meeting (where tea & coffee will provided of course!), next Sunday morning (8th January 2023) - either after the 10am or 12 noon Mass; whichever Mass you agreed to volunteer at! Unfortunately, it has proven difficult to contact some of you personally because some of the email addresses and/or mobile numbers where you kindly noted your contact details are not very easy to decipher!! Therefore, can I please ask you to contact me by email/text with your mobile number and/or email address to ensure that nobody is excluded from the invitation to attend one of the meeting(s) next Sunday morning. Please contact: Catherine Senior on: [email protected] or on: 07555 094304. Many thanks for your help and look forward to meeting you next Sunday morning. If you are unable to attend any of the Meetings next Sunday morning, can you please contact me with your availability for assisting with the teas/coffees between now and Easter, in order that rotas can be compiled accordingly. Many thanks.

We counted just over £970 in the SSVP Boxes. An excellent result! We will top it up to £1000 and add a further £1000 from our existing funds. A cheque for £2000 will be sent to SCIAF on behalf of St. Cadoc's Parishioners.
