“Thank you to everyone who attended our Family Fun Day & Barbecue last Sunday afternoon (11th June). There was a great atmosphere, and everyone entered into the spirit of the afternoon. A special word of thanks must go to our team of volunteers who assisted in a variety of roles, both in the preparation and at the event itself; our wonderful musicians, our home-bakers, and to all those who donated raffle prizes, thank you so very much indeed. See you all same time, same place next year!” Catherine Senior
“Our recent activities include providing a May Lunch for parishioners. We have also assisted a family and their adult son who has significant health issues, towards more independent living. We now have a third twinning parish in South Africa. We have given financial support to St Vincent’s Hospice, SSVP Furniture Project, Jericho House - addiction issues, and Rosalie Rendue (SPRED). We have also given financial support to individuals experiencing difficulties with the cost-of-living crisis. We continue to visit various nursing homes and make domestic visits. We also help out at The Wayside club once a month. Please contact us if you need any help or know someone you think may need help. All matters are treated in the strictest confidence. We can only do this work through your generosity, which is greatly appreciated.” Rosaleen Smith Would you like to join St. Cadoc’s SSVP?
