Advance notice: MP Blair McDougall and MSP Paul Kane, opponents of the Assisted Dying Bill, want to give constituents who are concerned about assisted dying an opportunity to meet with them to discuss the legislation and what can be done to oppose it. The Diocesan Youth Commission invites children in P4-P7 to a Pentecost Retreat Day on Sunday 8th June from 1.45pm-5pm. The theme is The Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. The Retreat takes place in St James’ church and halls on Greenock Road in Paisley (PA3 2LD). It will include Holy Mass. A light dinner will be provided. The pre-pilgrimage meeting will be held in St Ninian's Hall, Gourock on Sunday 8th June at 2pm. This is an opportunity meet fellow pilgrims and find out information regarding the pilgrimage. You can also ask any questions you may have. We would recommend that you attend or send a representative to the meeting. Also a reminder that all pilgrims are asked to make their own way to Glasgow airport for the commencement of the pilgrimage.
