This is the time when we pray as a faith community for All Souls, and in a special way, remember deceased family, friends and parishioners. Mass is celebrated each day throughout the month for this intention. If you wish someone special to you to be included in the Masses, please put their name(s) on the ‘November List’ available at the entrance to the church and return it to Canon Eddie. Families whose loved ones died in the past year have been invited to a Mass of Remembrance on Sunday 3rd November at 12 noon. Please remember all who continue to mourn the death of a loved one in your daily prayers, especially in the month of November. Thank you.

SCIAF’S ANNUAL REMEMBRANCE MASS will be celebrated by Bishop McGee, Bishop President of SCIAF in St Andrew’s Cathedral, on Thursday 23rd November at 1pm. On behalf of his family, Notre Dame HS Greenock are hosting a Memorial Mass for much loved and inspirational teacher Mr Gerry McHugh on Thursday 31st August at 7pm in St Patrick's Greenock. Everyone is welcome at this Mass to remember Mr. McHugh (R.I.P.); to pray for his eternal rest; and to pray for his family and friends.
It was with great sadness that we learned of the death earlier this week of Mgr. James. R.I.P. The Reception of Remains and Vigil will take place on Thursday 15th June at 6pm in St Mirin’s Cathedral. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for the happy repose of the soul of Mgr James on Friday 16th June at 12noon, thereafter to St Conval’s Cemetery, Barrhead. Please remember Mgr. James and his family in your prayers.
LINN CEMETERY ANNUAL MASS will take place on Saturday 10th June at 3pm. This is a welcome return since before COVID and it would be lovely to have the usual large gathering back again.
