11th NATIONAL DIVINE MERCY CONFERENCE – Saturday 26th October 2024: Friends of Divine Mercy Scotland are hosting this year’s conference in St Augustine’s Church, 12 Dundyvan Rd, Coatbridge ML5 1DQ. ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT & PRAYERS FOR PRIESTS On the 18th September, Bishop John, and the priests of Paisley Diocese, will gather together for a time of prayer, reflection, study, and fellowship. This is part of our programme of on-going formation as priests. You are invited to come during this day to pray for Bishop John and your priests. There will be a time of silent Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament on Monday the 18th September from 2pm until 7pm in St. John Bosco Church, Barwood Road, Erskine. The time will conclude at 7pm with Benediction.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY CELEBRATION on Sunday 16 April at 4p.m. in St Mary’s Church, Paisley. You are invited to celebrate this Feast Day with Bishop John Keenan, Monsignor Joe Burke, Fr Michael Kane and Fr Chido Ezeribe. There will be a Holy Hour at 4 p.m. led by Fr Michael Kane. Confessions will be available during the Holy Hour and then Holy Mass will be celebrated after the Holy Hour by Bishop John Keenan at 5 p.m. In one of the most extraordinary homilies of his pontificate, Pope John Paul II repeated three times that Saint Faustina is "God's gift to our time." She made the message of Divine Mercy the "bridge to the third millennium." All are welcome.
Coinciding with the 40 hours adoration at St Joseph's, Clarkson, from Thursday 23rd February, at 6pm continuing through the nights until Saturday, 25th February. Concluding at Midday. We will then have a prolonged time of Eucharistic Adoration at St Bridget's, Eaglesham from 11am until 6pm on Sunday 26th February 2023. We are hoping that parishioners will sign up for a 30-minute (or more) prayer time before the blessed sacrament. This could be as individuals or family groups. A signup sheet is on the noticeboard in the porch. This is a good opportunity to take time at the beginning of Lent to listen to the Lord. All are welcome!
