A little note for all our young people at the Youth Hub. The Youth Hub is now closed for the Easter break and we will start back up again on Sunday 4th May 2025. We wish you all a very happy and holy Easter. Book Project Raffle: A heartfelt THANK YOU to each one of you, for your support and contribution towards the success of the Youth Hub’s raffle for refugee children and young people. The response was heartwarming and very much appreciated. With your help we raised £1,500! In the Church porch, there is a list of all the lucky winners and their prizes! If you are fortunate enough to be a winner, then please collect your prize from the parish hall after the ten o’clock Mass. The prizes will be available for collection on Sunday 6th April and Sunday 13th April. With gratitude from everyone at the Youth Hub. (CLICK ON THE TITLE TO ACCESS WINNERS' LIST.)
YOUTH HUB – Sundays (term time) 4pm - 5.30pm. New members in S1 – S3 are encouraged to come along with their friends to enjoy an afternoon of fun. ‘Book Project’ Raffle to support refugee children and young people: “Every week at the Youth Hub, we take time to work on a ‘Service Project’ to support people less fortunate than ourselves. Last term for our ‘Service’ we planned, prepared and delivered a ‘Christmas Special Elderly Project’ for the residents of Newton House Care Home. It was an amazing experience of fun and friendship for all. This term we have chosen a ‘Book Project’ for our ‘Service’ to support a Glasgow charity called, BJO Amara Association, Charity No. SC046970, who support vulnerable refugee children and young people. We plan to fundraise as much money as we can and buy as many new books as we can, by running a raffle. We are asking for YOUR help. We will be selling raffle tickets at all the Masses this weekend. It will cost £1 for a strip of tickets. The draw for the raffle will be on Sunday 30th March after the 10.00am Mass in the Parish Hall. We would be very grateful for your support in helping us to help others.” Many thanks from all at the Youth Hub.
Please note that the club will resume on Sunday 3rd November beginning at 4pm. New members in S1 – S3 are encouraged to come along with their friends to enjoy an afternoon of fun.
Attention all S1/S2/S3 pupils! St. Cadoc’s is setting up it’s very own Youth Hub and we would like to invite YOU to come along and get involved. The Youth Hub will be a safe space where you can meet up with old friends and an opportunity to make new friends. It’s a place where you can ‘hang out’ in our youth café, listen to music, take part in different activities: play pool, art & crafts, games and sport. At the Youth Hub you will also be involved in planning and serving others in the parish and wider community. It begins on Sunday 15th September in St Cadoc’s Hall from 4.00pm until 5.30pm. Sr. Connie & Sr. Linda (Salesian Sisters) will be coming to talk to us about it at all our Masses on Sunday 7th & 8th September, so come along and don’t miss out!
